This problem sounds to be fuel starvation. My guess is either a kink in the fule delivery line or dirt in the filter. Check your fuel line to ensure it is not kinked.

I am a dealer for Lance, For all you folks who bought a Lance scooter online, the issues you face are because you are not a mechanic. Lance has ceased supplying scooters to online vendors because there were just too many people gating a box off a truck who had no idea what to do to check out the systems before it is ready to ride. My PDI (pre delivery inspection) process can take up to three hours before a scooter is ready for a customer. This includes a full nut and bolt check, brake bleed, change transmission and engine oils, check fuel lines, bed in the front disc brake and many more checks.

Since I have a 1,000 square foot workshop equipped with all the right tools for the job, I can get a scooter ready in that time. If you do not have the tools and the knowhow it can take a lot longer.

I charge a customer $120 for PDI. It is worth every penny and I stand behind my work and the product.
