You're very, very lucky. Have had mine for 2 months and has had problems straight out of the box. It could not possibly have had the promised PDI prior to shipment. It has wiring problems as well as serious safety issues. It should never have left their warehouse with these issues. Will they help me? No!
Lance does not stand behind their product. Lance boasts excellent customer service yet neglects to mention that this does not actually extend to their customers. They do not take phone calls, they do not answer emails. Future buyers, beware. Once you take delivery you are on your own. |

Great website they have, fine looking products, but there is no hope of getting support. Even their brick and mortar dealers will not service your bike unless you bought from them. The PDI inspection is a rip off as well.
The factory pushes everything back onto the dealer and disallows warranty claims. You can do much better elsewhere. |

Look out. While the Lance GTR 50 has turned out to be fun and problem-free so far, the manual is a joke (filled with errors, some serious), and the "dealer" I used (County Motorsports) does not answer customer service requests (took me four months to get a form letter response). While the web site continues to describe the GTR as having a "free" trunk, mine was shipped without one and CMS tells me that Lance has decided to discontinue these, so tough luck. No offer of a refund, no apology to speak of, and certainly no sense that they care. Fraudulent advertising is apparently not of any concern to this company.

There should be absolutely no reason you have had to replace your starter on a new scooter. Well, I did too. I have no faith in LancePowersports. They do not stand behind their product. The office staff is not helpful and often rude to customers. A new scooter should not have problems, period.
My best advice is to buy a quality name brand right from the start. Yes, they are more expensive to purchase but they will save money in the long run because there will be no repair bills. Name brand scooters are solid. Lance is far from it. My Lance is always breaking down, parts disintegrating while I'm riding. If you want a push bike, Lance is it, because you will spend much time pushing it to a mechanic. Big thumbs down. |

Totally agree.
You want cheap, buy a Lance. You wants defects, buy a Lance. You want constant breakdowns, buy a Lance. You want a solid scooter, buy a Yamaha, Honda, Vespa, or any other scooter who has a strong reputation in the marketplace for product and service. |
