I am looking to buy one, but am very deterred the many, many bad reviews of Lance and it's former names.

I bought a Milan Lance 150cc scooter in May 2008 and I enjoy it. The one thing I would not do is buy one over the internet. I bought mine from a Lance dealer in Fenton, MO. The owner is an engineer by trade and can fix anything. I only had one minor problem and that was when the frame that holds the bolts for the muffler broke. I took it back and he welded the problem parts and he told me that it should never come apart there again. For the few days he had my scooter he allowed me to use his 250cc Roketa and I really enjoyed riding it also. They have bent over backwards to help me and I am very pleased. They are also listed with the Better Business Bureau and have an excellent rating with them. The only thing I can suggest is that you deal with a company that will back up what they promise.
