Default Just bought one

Mixed review for the Lance Vintage 150 thus far. Yes you really only need to install the front handle bar and battery. However this is no documentation on how to do this. Call text support and they seem to feel it is all self apparent. There should be some documentation on how to hook up the battery etc.

Why did you sign for the package if everything look busted? They (scootersfactory) stresses that you must take the box off and examine the bike before signing for it...

Default True True

I was informed by my sales rep to not sign for anything yet until i inspect it for any damages and mark it so that scooters factory can file a claims for it and send parts. Next time you should talk to a sales rep as they have more knowledge of what to do should this kind of situation occurs.

Thumbs down

Just took a look at one today. It is almost identical to a TNG scooter (Milano). They run great, batteries suck, and parts, well good luck!

Yeah they look like the TNG and the quality is the same but yet you pay half of what it costs for a TNG. That's a true bargain.

Default but if you think about it...

hasn't it always been true with scooters that you spend as much time fixing them as you do riding?

Default scooterfactory stocks parts

ive been on the verge on buying one of these for a while. i like the look of the new Milan 150 so ill probably get that one. as far as parts are concerned, you're going to have to take the initiative to learn about the scooter in order to service it. if you dont have any inclination to do small engine maintenance like cleaning air filters, adjusting idles, or keeping screws tite... youd be better off buying a better known brand (vespa, honda, yamaha, suzuki, etc.) here in Los Angeles, scooter stores are popping up everywhere so im not that worried. as the cost of gas keeps rising, more and more scooters are showing up on the road.

ive been looking around and it appears as if Scooterfactory is the only importer of lance scooters, and they distribute to the rest of the U.S. as long as you know the name of the part you need and can reference the part number you should be able to get it from them. as far as putting it on yourself... good luck!

im glad to know im supposed to inspect the scooter before signing for it... i thought i had to sign IN ORDER to open the crate!

Lance parts are also available at euromopeds.com and we include pre-delivery inspection in which Lance technicians actually take the scooters, prep the battery, start the moped, tighten all bolts, and check electrical wiring before shipping. Hopefully this will lead help to lessen some of the problems people have indicated!
