I ordered a Lance Vintage 150 from Scooternitro.com on June 24. The website said they were in stock but I got a run around from them for weeks and finally received "a scooter" yesterday. It was not the Lance Vintage 150, but a similar, though not as nice visually, scooter. The company that shipped me the scooter was not Scooternitro in Nixa, MO but KDM motorsports in Ontario, CA.
When I complained to Scooternitro that this was not the scooter I ordered they emailed back and said they no longer carry Lance products but that this scooter was made by the same factory. Lance products still appear on their website. I wish now that I had found a local dealer and was originally looking for a Baron but couldn't find a website for them. Now I'm stuck with this scooter...hopefully it runs better than the service I got from Scooternitro. BUYER BEWARE....DON'T BUY FROM SCOOTERNITRO.COM |

I bought what I thought was a Lance Vintage 150cc scooter. Instead I got a zhejiang taizhou scooter that looks different, I'm not even sure its a 150cc scooter. I was also told I would get the trunk, but did not get that either.
If I return the scooter, I have to pay the $400 shipping charge myself. Saving a little money on the internet for a scooter is not worth it. Go to a scooter store directly. |

It's interesting that scooternitro is getting away with this bait and switch. I disputed the charge with american express to no avail but did get some satisfaction from google checkout...$100 refund and 5 yr. extended waranteee.
Since there is no one here who works on these bikes the warantee is useless. Isn't it illegal to sell things on the internet like that? |

I also ordered a stealth 150 in August. It was delivered and I put it together. I got exactly what I paid for.... a cheap 150cc scooter. However it runs at 72 MPH and my last tankful I got 74 MPG. When it developed a gas leak, I e-mailed the company and they told me to check the fuel filter, and sure enough that was it. When you buy cheap junk, you can not expect high dollar quality. I just ordered another one for my wife.

I purchased Sweet 50 in June 2008. Scooter worked ok for a couple of month. It was slowly getting to 20 m/h and then it was getting to 35m/h quick, got a lot of honking behind when was tacking off the light. I adjusted the idle a little higher and all hell got loose. It didn't want to start after 15 to 45 min ride. I had to wait sometimes for an hour to start the scooter. Now it has only 300 miles and I can't find what is wrong with it. It starts from cold and run as long as you don't stop, but it will not even start from cranking, after stop. I called scooternitro to get a new starter and starter relay, but they gone out of business due to economic conditions and together with them went out of the door my 5 year warranty. I paid about $1300 for this junk and can't find a mechanic who would fix it. Should off got Vespa. I gues it is true greedy person paying twice.

I bought a scooter last year May 2008 from scooter nitro. It never ran!!! I called and called and called..........William was very very difficult to deal with. Not once did he ever offer any help! The scooter is still not running. I bought a Bali. It was very hard to get through to anyone, with the acception of William a few times. They never have answered any emails. They knew the day I received the scooter that it did not run. I have gone through all the normal things, battery, spark plug, fuel filter, fuses. They all work, but the scooter does not run. I cannot get any business to touch this scooter because it was bought on the internet. So there I sit with brand new scooter that does not know nor ever has run. Please everyone go to the Better Business Bureau.
