When I received my scooter new from dealer it wouldn't run. After checking lines from fuel pump I found one to be too short and kinked at output so I added 6 inches to this line and that fixed that. Then it ran hot
so I called the dealer and teck support said that that was OK but it wasn't
all fluid from radatior had leaked out froken plastic filler neck. I waited 3 weeks for replacement and then found the number to be disconnected.
I took all pieces to a radiator shop and had a new one made from copper,
guess what, it didn't run hot anymore until the electric cooling fan quit.
Next replaced cooling fan and starter motor which had burnt up, then
scooter would not start from starter button but would by shorting solinoid
so I put a piece of number 12 copper on each side of solinoid and extended
through sidepanel vent with a wirenut on one end. Then valve stem on back tire split when I was riding at 45 MPH, tire went flat and stopped dead in road
but I went over handlebars and hit the road wearing shorts, tee shirt and tennis shoes last August breaking 10 bones. I'm not riding it anymore>

Sorry to hear about your tech problems. Everyone should know that any motor-driven cycle should NOT be operated in shorts and tees. I know that this is the popular notion, and the popular dream, but..........Wear the recommended driving apparel, including helmet, long sleeved shirts, gloves, any kind of trousers or pants, and appropriate footwear. Hazards are just around the corner.....you may look cute in your ride, stark-naked around the block, but you won't last ten seconds past a sack of dog poodoo if you are involved in a mishap. Ride smart.

Just so that everyone knows, the valve stem that is original equipment with any scooter, might not last long and should be inspected/replaced before attempting any higher speed commutes. At the very least, look into replacing the front wheel valve asap. A rear wheel episode with a valve stem is almost manageable at higher speeds with correct reaction time and letting off the throttle, managing speed, etc. A front wheel episode with same fubar valve can result in injury or worse. ( not to mention two wheel valves failing simultaneously) Hope you understand that I aint criticizing you. I feel your pain. Don't give up riding because of a mishap.
