Default Roketa Maui Small Gas Leak

My Roketa Maui MC-10 has a small gas leak which seems to be around the fuel filter or coming from the small fuel filter. Anyone have a similar issue?

Default gas leak rocketa 50 cc

I have a leak on my Roketa Maui MC-10; it's coming from a black cylinder having 3 hoses connected at one end and 2 nipples (no hoses) at the other. the leak is drop by drop from one of the nipples. the cylinder looks like an evaporative cannister. I'll check with a couple guys tomorrow. any luck with yours?

Default Fuel Leak

I have a Roketa Bermuda and I believe that I have a leak in my fuel filter. Trying to find a place to get a replacement part.

YES I bought two of these scooters though they are called Roketa Fiji MC-04-150 (same bike). Go to an auto parts store and buy an in-line fuel filter about 2-4 dollars. Replace the filter and your problem solved. I did this on both of my bikes beacuse they leaked.

Default Fuel leak in my Bali 150

My Roketa Bali doesn't even have 200 miles on it yet and I have fuel dripping out. We tried to replace the clamps but that didn't work. There is a local store in Elgin, IL who has parts... they also sell them on e-bay, but most of them have a no-return policy. The fuel filter for mine appears to only be $6.95 so I guess it's worth trying.

Exclamation

Roketa (a/k/a Goldenvale ) realy sucks I am A dealer and they can not even supply parts for their dealers. I think they should close down if they can not provide the support of the parts for items that they import.

I'm having the same problem with the leaky fuel filter.

I haven't ever ordered anything from there, but they seem to be well-stocked.

I've had my Roketa 150 for about 6 months, and this is the only real problem I've had with it. The battery sucks, but for a cheap scooter, it's gotten me back & forth to work rather well.

Default Its not a leak

I bought the Roketa Maui yesterday and the sales guy told me there is an overflow mechanism. This means if you put too much gas in the tank it will spill some out as a precaution. It is not a hole leaking gas, but it will look like one.

If you are still uncertain bring it to the dealer.

My husband and I just bought two Roketa Maui scooters and the fuel pump was leaking on one out of the blue. You can pick up a new filter at any auto store or even sears. When he pulled it apart he noticed that the factory had put it in backwards. Putting a new on the other bike just in case. Good luck.

Exclamation fuel filter size important

make sure when you get the fuel filter from the auto parts store that it is just about the same size or you may flood your engine very badly I did this by accident because i was over zealous with my "customizations" there is a little bowl that you can overflow in the engine if you overdo the capacity of the fuel filter.

Default gas leak

I bought two of them and had to replace both the gas filters, our american gas eats thru them. it is a common problem any car store sells a similar size replacement.
