Greetings
I have an United Motors Xpeed-50R and I believe the CDI went out in it, sometimes it runs and sometimes it doesn't. I get initial spark when attempting start, but no continuous spark upon more cranking. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks |

I have a United Motors Xpeed-50R but no problems yet runs great but I had a kaliber ls that did that same thing I change the coil the cdi the igniter and all kinds of stuff and still did the same thing and then one day it just decided to run fine drove it for about three months and then sold it. So I have no clue what caused that problem. I think it had a problem with flooding cause when I got it cranked it blew out tones of smoke. So just make sure it isn't flooding it's self I think that is what caused mine to do that.

I've only had my United Motors Xpeed-50R a couple months and have ridden it weather permitting. I love riding it but it seems to have a lot of problems starting. I've replaced the battery (which I don't think I should have to considering I just bought it) and am still having problems. I don't know what to do at this point. Any suggestions?

Well, I bought a United Motors Xpeed-50R about 500 miles ago. One of the major problems is that the 07 model satup in storage so long that some injectors got clogged. Also NEVER USE ethanol blend gas or any ethanol gas at all!!!!! it breaks down all hoses
Also had the hard to start problems and it was a bad rebreather hose. under warranty! Go back to the repair shop you bought it from and get it checked out. I have still long term warranty |

There are no injectors, you're talking about jets... but seriously, how does one avoid using ethanol gas when it's required by law?? (in some states)
